Review : Topshop eye-shadows.

Hey everyone, today I'm going to do a review on a product that I bought when I was in London last October  I found it in Topshop, I've heard about their make up line quite a while ago on YouTube but I hadn't had the opportunity to try them out yet. Since it was so inexpensive I thought that if it was rubbish it didn't matter that much. I can't remember the exact price but it was something around 5£, so about huh, nothing. I picked this colour cause I couldn't find it in any other brand. The colour is much more true to life on the second picture, but I still wanted to show you the packaging which is really decent, it isn't too hard to close or open and I like the fact that it's really quite simple and that you can see the colour of the product even when it's closed. By the way the name of the colour is "Red". Even though to me it looks more like a raspberry.

Can you spot the little elf ? haha !

The left swatch has been done with a brush and water, the right one  with a dry finger.

So as you can see it isn't the most pigmented colour ever, but I find it to appear more bright when used with water. Just a quick tip: when using a wet brush I suggest that you always pick the colour from only one side of the eye-shadow, because this specific one isn't made to be used wet so it will dry up and you'll have to scratch a thin layer to get you normal product. Otherwise it last quite long on the lid when used with a good primer underneath. Also this is a completely matte shadow.

So are they really worth buying then ? Well, yes if you don't have a lot of money, or if you have enough patience and/or time to really build the colour, or if you're a begginer in make up, then yes, you might want to try some of their shades.

Alright, thank's for reading, that's all for today, if you have any questions make sure to post them in the comments down below, big kisses to you all, talk to you soon !
